NEET aspirants seeking to enroll in MBBS courses must meet MBBS admission eligibility for qualifying NEET 2025. Given below are the NEET 2025 eligibility criteria that specify the age limit, nationality, qualifications, etc.
Age Limit
The interested candidates must be at least 17 years old during admission or attain the said age by December 31, 2025.
There’s no upper age limit.
The candidate must have been born on or before December 31, 2008.
There’s no limit on the number of attempts to appear in the NEET exam.
Nationality
Candidates applying for MBBS admission in India 2025 must be Indian Nationals/ NRIs/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs)/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals.
Jammu and Kashmir migrants can apply under the 15% All India Quota via a self-declaration basis.
Foreign nationals applying for NEET 2025 must confirm their eligibility clauses at the respective Medical or Dental College of the State.
Qualifications
Aspiring candidates must have passed the Class 12 Board exam or shall appear for the board exam in 2025 or equivalent to Biology/Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, and English subjects.
Candidates from the General category must have obtained at least 50% aggregate in PCB combined, while the reserved category (General-PWD) must have secured 45%, and SC, ST, OBC, and Reserved PWD must have a minimum of 40%.
Students educated abroad who wish to enrol in medical colleges in India must have completed their 12th-grade education in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English, securing at least 50% marks, as recognized by the AIU in accordance with MCI regulations.
Candidates who have completed their education through Open Schools are also eligible.

NEET UG MBBS 2025 Application Process
NEET 2025 application form will be released during mid February, on NEET’s official website. Follow the steps below to learn how to fill NEET 2025 application form.
Step 1: Visit NEET’s official website i.e. exams.nta.ac.in/NEET or neet.ntaonline.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Latest News” section and click on the “NEET 2025 Registration” tab.
Step 3: Now click on the agreement checkbox after reading the instructions carefully.
Step 4: Furnish the required details such as personal and contact information, and create a password.
Step 5: The website will send an OTP to your mobile number and email address. Verify the details by entering the OTPs.
Step 6: NEET will send your registration credentials such as the application number and password via email.
Step 7: Use your registration credentials to log into the website and complete the NEET 2025 application form.
Step 8: Enter the mandatory details in each section, including personal, educational, exam city preference, medium of question paper, upload documents (signature, photograph, category certificate, thumb and finger expressions, etc.) and other details.
Step 9: Next, pay the NEET MBBS 2025 application fee via online mode using Debit or Credit Card, UPI, and Net Banking.

NEET 2025 Admit Card
NEET 2025 admit card or hall ticket will be released in the first week of May, just a few days before the exam. It’s the most important document to be carried or you will be denied entry to the exam centre.
The authority will release the admit card online on the NEET’s official website. Candidates can download the admit card by logging into the NEET website using registration credentials containing the application number and password.
NEET 2025 Result Date
NEET 2025 results and the final answer key will be out in the second week of June 2025. The result will be released in the form of a scorecard and merit list. Candidates can download their scorecards in PDF form by logging in to the NTA NEET 2025 official website.
